Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal Specialist

With 10 busy dealerships and 2 body shops, the Executive Auto Group has provided superior customer service to Hartford, Berlin, Wallingford, North Haven, Guilford, and the surrounding towns' car-buying community for more than 40 years.

Currently, we are seeking an Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal - Specialist for our Wallingford central accounting office. This team member will be responsible for tracking and sending bank contracts to lenders, processing trade payoffs, recording accounting transactions, completing and transmitting DMV paperwork and other functions related to the accounting office.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal Specialist position include but are not limited to:

  • Process car deals in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Process dealer trades, wholesales and lien payoffs
  • Process and transmit DMV paperwork
  • Verify costs, commissions and transactions for each sale
  • Comply with federal, state and company policies and procedures and regulations
  • Code documents according to company procedure
  • Classify, record and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers and computers
  • Perform all other job duties as requested by management

Job Requirements
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Accounting - Title/Deal Specialist position include:

·      2 years of dealership title clerk experience

·      Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

·      CDK Drive experience preferred

·      Proficiency in communication and basic math

·      Detail oriented

Automotive Sales Department Lot Attendant

Executive Jeep/Nissan

Education Level: High School

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Lot Attendant will be responsible for the overall condition of the inventory lots. Assist the management team with vehicle stock in, transportation and overall lot maintenance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Assist the Sales Department in vehicle inspection and stock in of new vehicles

·      Tighten up inventory and inspect for damage, cleanliness, stickers and plate frames with inserts

·      Stocking in keys into a key tracking system

·      Filing manuals and inventory files and filing spare keys

·      Filling out clear stock tags for both vehicle and key tags clearly and neatly

·      Researching out-of-place inventory and returning it to its proper location

·      Transporting vehicles between multiple inventory storage areas

·      Responsible for overall cleanliness of lots

·      Snow removal from inventory

PHYSICAL AND COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS:

·      Must be extremely organized, self-motivated and someone who takes pride in their position

·      Must be able to write neatly and legibly

·      Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and shovel snow

·      Exposure to outdoor environments in a variety of weather conditions

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Must possess overall general automotive knowledge

·      Ability to jump-start vehicles

·      Drive manual transmission equipped vehicles

·      Overall knowledge of 4-wheel drive systems

LICENSE AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:

·      Valid driver's license

·       Clean driving record
